After approximately 3 months of ownership whilst on the road in Ireland with my Yamaha SB 200 upright bass, the 'plastic' tailgut saddle shattered! Here is my upgraded version cut from a solid block of seasoned maccassar ebony I tracked down in a wood shed in Derbyshire..
