Ever since our donated old but regulated generator was stolen by the new owners of the 'The Hunters' I had to re-negoteate with the 'organisers' of the Charlesworth and Chisworth Fete every Year for a safe, fully regulated generator rather than one that was designed for Builders power tools and lighting to keep the band safe on the outdoor stage.. Eventually after the conclusion that I was getting fussy for the protection of my PA gear I simply gave up.. Have you seen what an unregulated generator can do to an all valve amplifier? of which we had at least two..

I even sent the data in obsessive detail but to no avail and as the only person with professional experience in Electrics / Electronics, I was no longer prepaired to be burdoned with the responsability... A sad end to many years of great fun..
