Hi, As the old LAMP site was getting a little tired I thought it was about time for an upgrade. So... After a solid Month ignoring the family whilst grappling with Node, Vite, Express, React and Tailwind to play nicely together, I finally managed to build a reasonably stable codebase for the site. So I am now writing some php script to extract the old MySql posts and convert to the new database schema.

This blog is a space to share knowledge, stories, and resources about music, bands, luthery, coding, electronics, and more. The website is 'Full Stack' and built by me from the ground up (no WordPress or derivatives) using the latest web technologies and is hosted on my private European servers using a 'Bare Bones' flavour of Linux to ensure both privacy and performance.

Here you can find posts, guides, and discussions from musicians, makers, and tech enthusiasts. Whether you're here to learn, contribute, or just browse, I hope you find something of value.
